MediaTek visits Ohio schools to witness innovative learning

In May, Brian O'Branovich, MediaTek's Deputy Director for Client Computing GTM, embarked on a multi-school tour of two forward-thinking Ohio schools: North Ridgeville City School District, and L. Hollingworth School.

North Ridgeville City School District impressed with their cutting-edge "Tech ER" program, spearheaded by Paul Hieronymus, Director of Technology. This innovative initiative allows students to gain hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining the district's fleet of MediaTek-powered Chromebooks, fostering valuable technical skills.

    L. Hollingworth School offered the opportunity to witness first-hand the success of the Esports lab established with MediaTek's support. The lab's popularity continues to surge, with students even enjoying an expanded selection of games. Brian also engaged in a captivating discussion with students, offering insights into career planning, his own professional journey, and the exciting world of the technology industry.

These visits reinforce MediaTek's commitment to empowering educational institutions with the technology and support they need to cultivate a dynamic and future-oriented learning environment.
