Canonical has announced that the Advantech RSB-3810, powered by the high-end MediaTek Genio 1200, is now certified on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. This ensures reliable and efficient over-the-air updates and long-term OS support, enabling a next generation of secure, open, and extensible AI-enhanced IoT devices for commercial applications.
MediaTek collaborated with Canonical to optimize Ubuntu for the Genio 1200, and the compact and highly efficient Advantech 2.5" Pico-ITX board provides a powerful octa-core CPU with dual-core AI processor and integrated ‘starlight-grade’ ISP, plus extensive IO for expansion and customization to meet the needs of wide-ranging IoT applications.
